I was surprised to learn that the fashion blogger & designer, Cori Robinson is based right out of Renton and even more surprised to hear that she's cousin to SBB Sponsors at Madeline James Photography! Small world, isn't it?!? And how lucky for us!
I asked Cori to share a little about herself and her designs: I'm a mother of 3 with a fourth little one on the way. I began creating my own designs when I couldn't find clothes or sewing patterns that fit my very petite frame. Soon I was doing custom orders for friends and family, and then eventually readers on my style blog, "La Vie Petite". When I could no longer keep up with the overwhelming demand, and with the encouragement of my amazing husband, I decided to branch out and create my own little indie label, Corilynn. I'm excited that I will now be able to provide a broader range of designs to more fabulous women, all done right here, from concept to creation, in the Pacific Northwest.
I believe that clothing should be beautiful and fun, should make you feel fabulous, and should be made to the highest standards. I love to infuse classic silhouettes, bold patterns, and a little bit of whimsy into my designs. After all, getting dressed should be fun!
