I had the great pleasure of interviewing Bridal Festival's founder, Tammy Schneider, about the upcoming show and what to expect.
Q: How long have you been curating Bridal Festival?
A: I have been doing bridal fairs for over 25 years. I started out doing 4 events a year and now do two shows, one fall bridal fair on Sat. Sept. 29th 2012 & a winter bridal fair on Jan. 12th & 13th 2013, both shows held at the Spokane Convention Center.
Q: What moved you to begin a bridal fair in the Northwest?
A: I was born & raised right her in CDA so it only made sense once I noticed a need in the wedding industry to develop an event where brides can basically plan their entire dream wedding all under one roof all in one weekend.
Q: What makes Bridal Festival so unique?
A: I have selected the best of the best in the wedding industry to participate having a booth where they can meet one on one with the brides to help answer questions & check availability right there. The upcoming Sept 29th show will have close to 100 wedding professionals there to give brides choices and different price budgets.
Q: How can brides and grooms get the most out of attending Bridal Festival and what is your advice on how to start planning?
A: Honestly any couple looking to tie the knot can't afford not to spend the $7.00 admission fee with the knowledge & ideas they will gain. Most vendors are offering specials exclusive to this event! Brides can also register on my web site at bridalfest.com for $1.00 off the admission & additional prizes. There will also be two elegant runway fashion shows at noon & again at 3pm to show brides the latest styles & trends from wedding & honeymoon attire.
Q: Are there any special giveaways for couples attending the fair?
A: There will be over $20,000 in prizes & giveaways including a $1500 diamond that one lucky bride will win in our diving for diamonds contest as well as an elegant wedding gown, a complete set of tuxedo's, a men's diamond band and an elegant dream wedding package.
